Geared for a Better Future

NGC participates in Wind O&M 2017

NGC unveils Gear-Sight CMS and StanGear Platform

On April 10th, NGC unveiled its Gear-Sight Condition Monitoring System (CMS) and its serialized platform StanGear at Wind Energy Update 2017 in Dallas, Texas. We were pleased to have the opportunity to showcase how Gear-Sight CMS and StanGear Platform can work in a number of wind applications.

In a rapidly changing world in need of renewable energy, we want to make sure that we are a part of your success. With the need for more intelligent products and the increasing demand for data mining, NGC’s GearSight CMS and StanGear platform are able to reduce your maintenance cost and increase turbine availability. Dedicated to providing you with solutions for your gearbox needs – our team of engineers, wind experts, and executives were on site to answer all questions and inquires.

Watch the birdie! Apart from being a Diamond Sponsor, we also hosted an exclusive Owner’s only golf event. Although it was bad weather, the rain did not stop us. We would like to congratulate our winners! Here are some of the highlights of the game:

For attendees at the Westinn, we had a NGC Workshop led by Dr. Kevin Guo (Application Engineer) to explain our StanGear platform and its benefits to the industry. Missed our workshop? You can learn more about StanGear here.

Over 100 participants attended the NGC Keynote speech led by Tom Marek (Senior Manager – Wind Gears Business Development)! In the speech, Tom discussed several challenges facing the US onshore wind industry and how we as an industry can solve them. The highlights? He reviewed upcoming challenges for the US onshore and wind industry, finding the perfect match when working with service providers and a long-term sustainable approach for wind energy.
